An EI™ Tag is EYELEVEL INTERACTIVE'S own proprietary branded MAC (mobile action code) developed by Microsoft Corporation. MAC is a common industry name for what first appeared as a "QR" or Quick Response code. It is a geometric, multi-colored EI branded 2-dimensional code that can hold data and becomes accessible when scanned.

First appearing in the manufacturing industry to track parts and production, MACs have infinite use in the marketing space because of the wide range and amount of information they can hold-whether it be a URL, an image, text, etc- and the growing accessibility to consumers through the expansion of smart phone and mobile device use.

Located in a conspicuous place on the Switch-It panel, EI™ Tags are 3 1/2 inch by 3 1/2 inch codes that allow consumers to interact with a campaign or promotion displayed on a uniform by linking it to any desired URL.

Any consumer with a smart phone or wireless device can download and install an application such as the Microsoft Tag Reader that will allow them to scan and read the EI™ Tag.
